Hi everyone!
I am here to share the latest news on how our favorite person is doing! Grandon had round 3 of chemotherapy today and let me know afterward that it went well. Aside from overall fatigue and stomach pain, the side effects of his chemo have not been severe so far. Praise the Lord! His mom and sister gave him the cutest buzz cut tonight so that he can feel fresh and more comfortable during his treatments!
Today, in one of my elementary ed classes, we spent time praying for Grandon and the Mitchells. I am so blessed to be at a school where we openly lift our needs and burdens to the Lord—it has been such an encouragement to me. It has been hard to be so far away, and I wish I were right next to Grandon, but if there is anywhere else to be during such a time as this, it is Liberty University!
Here is how you can be praying:
1. That Grandon would be able to get good rest throughout the nights.
2. Strength for all of the Mitchells, especially his mama.
3. That Grandon’s treatments would be as painless as possible.
