Hi! I want to share with you the top 5 songs I have been listening to on repeat since I found out about Grandon’s diagnosis on Friday. Each of these songs has a special way of reminding me of the power of our God.
- Sweet Ever After by Ellie Holcomb
This song is a gentle reminder of how good life is with Jesus, even when our present circumstances seem hard. “Got a lot of bad days still coming our way…but a sweet ever after.” Amen and amen. - For The Good by Riley Clemmons
God already has a good and perfect plan in mind for Grandon—and this step in the plan is only temporary. He promises to work all things for the good of those who love Him! Thanks Riley Clemmons for that reminder. : ) - Honey In The Rock by Brandon Lake
“There’s honey in the rock, purpose in Your plan, power in the blood, healing in Your hands.” So much truth about the character of who our God is in this song. - Take You At Your Word by Cody Carnes
This song is a declaration that we believe God is who He says He is and has the power to do what He says He is able to do. In this season, I am choosing to take God at His word and give Him all of my trust and hope. - More Than Able by Elevation Worship
“Can you imagine, with all of the faith in the room, what the Lord can do?” This line gives me chills every time I hear it because the truth is—God is able to do more than we could EVER imagine. Does that not just fill your soul with peace and gratitude?
I hope these songs encourage you as much as they have encouraged me! Lots of love!
