Hi everyone! My name is Lizzy Taylor, and this page is all about my sweet boyfriend, Grandon. We started dating in June 2023 and just celebrated our one-year anniversary this summer. Grandon is my best friend and an absolute joy to do life with! If you know him, you just love him : )

At the beginning of August, we began preparing for our second year of long-distance, with Grandon getting ready to head to Olivet Nazarene University to study Pastoral Ministries and me returning to Liberty University to work on my Elementary Education degree. Around this time, Grandon started feeling sick daily. What we initially thought to be a case of sun poisoning turned out to be something much more serious.

I left for school on August 15th, and on Friday, August 23rd, Grandon was diagnosed with B-Cell ALL Leukemia. While my initial reaction to this news was complete heartbreak and shock, it is Grandon’s spirit that has shifted my heart posture to faith and trust in the Lord. On the day he was diagnosed, right before I fell asleep, he texted me, “I will suffer gladly for the glory of the Lord.” For the glory of the Lord. What a perspective.

Although I am not with Grandon in person, it is an honor to witness his strength and complete surrender to the Lord as he begins his cancer treatments. It is for this very reason that I want to share updates with you from my point of view, so that you can see what I see in his heart and his healing. Before we know it this page will be a beautiful testimony.
