This post is a fun one! If you want to support Grandon (or another loved one) through cancer, a great way to do that is by sending gifts. I figured out very early on in our relationship that Grandon is one of the best gift-givers I have ever met in my life! He deserves all the gifts in return. I’ve put together a list of a few of my favorite gift ideas—some big and some small—specifically ones that I haven’t sent yet, so feel free to use these ideas if you’d like to send him a gift!
- Waffle Robe – Waffle robes are comfy, cozy, breathable, and absorbent! This is such a practical gift that I can see Grandon using daily.
- The Balm Box – The Balm Box website has chemo care and cancer care boxes for men! I love this idea for anyone unsure about what items would be most helpful for a cancer patient.
- Kindle/Barnes & Noble Gift Card – In the next few months, Grandon will have lots of time to read. We looked at Kindles together this summer, and I remember him saying he’d love to have one in the future. I think now is the perfect time for that—or just books in general!
- Bags/Toiletry Bags – With many hospital stays and appointments in Grandon’s present and future, having nice bags and toiletry bags to carry his stuff would be super convenient.
- Restaurant Gift Cards – Grandon loves to eat lol! These would be great for when cravings hit or to save his family the hassle of making meals.
- Skincare Products – Chemo can dry out your skin, and hospital stays in general can make you feel icky. Gentle skincare products would help keep his skin hydrated and comfortable.
- Eye Mask/Massage Mask – These would be perfect for relaxation during tough days, tension relief, and getting good sleep throughout the night.
- Spoonful of Comfort – This company offers care packages that include soups, rolls, and cookies. It’s a thoughtful way to provide nourishment and comfort!
- Men’s Stationery – Grandon is thoughtful and generous, so I can see him appreciating some high-quality stationery. It would allow him to send notes or letters to loved ones, which could also give him something to do during his recovery.
- Quality Matching Set – A soft, matching set is both practical and is a confidence booster! I think he looks so cute in cozy outfits!
If you’d like to send Grandon a gift, please send me an email at [email protected], and I will share the shipping info! Thanks for reading : )
Lots of love!
